This is a unique opportunity to benefit from a healing retreat in the Andes.  It integrates Inca traditional medicine and biomedical science.  The retreat is lead by two renown traditional Inca healers and Dr. Mario Incayawar, an Inca physician, internationally published scholar, and professor  in brain, mind and medicine, working in the USA and Ecuador.

The Inca healing retreat offers an innovative, structuring, and personalized program.  It is designed to promote wellbeing, self-efficacy, empowerment and growth.  Healing strategies drawn from Inca traditional medicine and biomedical science will be used.  These include writing therapy, meditative, contemplative, physical manipulative, and cognitive-behavioral sessions.  Biomedical pharmacological agents will be recommended if deemed necessary.

If you are open to new healing approaches, this should be perfect for you.  Given the individualized nature of the healing retreat, we will carefully select only 12 participants.

The three-day retreat will offer you the following:

  • Two one-hour healing sessions with an Inca traditional healer
  • One one-hour medical consultation
  • A psychological interview
  • Two group healing sessions
  • Two indoor relaxation sessions
  • Outdoor meditation in sacred places
  • Meals (in Otavalo only)
  • Hotel accommodations (in Otavalo only)
  • Local transportation (in Otavalo only)
  • Airplane tickets to Ecuador, and hotel/transportation from Quito to Otavalo are not included.

A detailed itinerary and program will be made available after registration.
